Eltor
Privacy Policy for the composition review experience, saved boards, voice reflections, purchases, and support contact.
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Eltor collects, uses, shares, and retains information when you use the app’s composition review features, save or export review boards, create typed or voice reflections, make credits purchases, or contact support.
1. Overview
Eltor is designed to help you review framing and composition through guide overlays, saved studies, exported boards, and optional voice reflections. We only request access that supports those features, and we explain below what information is involved and how it is used.
2. Information We Collect
Images and Media Access
When you choose a photo from your library or capture a new frame with the camera, Eltor uses that image to create a review board with your selected composition guide and board settings. If you choose to export a finished board, the exported image is written to Photos.
Voice Reflections and Speech Recognition
When you choose to record a spoken reflection, Eltor may access the microphone and use speech recognition to turn your words into editable review text. This happens only when you start a voice note.
Purchase and Credits Information
If you choose to buy credits, Eltor receives purchase status details such as product identifiers, transaction confirmation data, and the resulting credits balance needed to apply the purchase. Payment card handling is managed by Apple’s in-app purchase system.
Tracking Permission and Attribution
If you allow App Tracking Transparency, Eltor may use attribution-related signals to understand install and purchase campaign performance.
Support Communications
If you email support, we collect the information you provide in that message so we can respond and resolve the request.
Usage and Preference Signals
Eltor may keep information about your selected guide type, board appearance settings, saved reflections, export actions, and credits balance so the app can present your review history and operate correctly.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide the composition review workflow, including image import, camera capture, overlay rendering, saved boards, and Photos export.
- Convert optional voice reflections into editable text and store your chosen notes for later review.
- Process credits purchases, apply credits balances, and troubleshoot purchase-related issues.
- Respond to support requests and improve reliability, permissions handling, and feature operation.
- Measure campaign and purchase attribution when you grant tracking permission.
4. Sharing and Service Providers
We may share information with service provider categories that help us operate Eltor, including:
- Apple and platform-level services for in-app purchases, permissions, and Photos-related features.
- Platform speech-recognition services when you choose to create a voice reflection.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that operate linked support and policy pages.
Service providers that receive information on our behalf are required to protect it to the same or a materially equivalent standard as described in this policy.
5. Data Retention
Saved boards, reflections, and related review details remain available in the app until you delete them. Exported boards remain in Photos until you remove them there. Purchase records and credits balance data may be retained as needed to confirm transactions, prevent abuse, and respond to support issues. Support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request and keep a support history.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- You can decide whether to grant camera, photo library, microphone, speech-recognition, and tracking permission.
- You can delete saved boards and reflections within the app and remove exported boards from Photos.
- You can stop using voice reflections at any time by not starting a microphone recording.
- You can contact us to ask privacy questions or request support at support@eltor.com.
7. Children's Privacy
Eltor is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through Eltor, contact us and we will review the request.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with the current effective publication.
